Our story:
Uncle Jon's Soap started with our family’s desire to rid our lives of some of the harsh chemicals that most people encounter on a daily basis. (yes.. we know everything is a chemical) We quickly found that many of those products and chemicals are unnecessary and are actually doing more harm than good. Our journey started with a few Google searches, several YouTube videos, and a great deal of trial and error, however as time progressed, we became more comfortable with the manufacturing process of soap as well as many other body care products. While we were beginning to realize that this natural lifestyle held some healthy benefits, some family friends began telling us that we should share our little secret with the public, so we did.
Many of Uncle Jon’s products are multi-purpose; meaning that with a single bar of soap you could wash yourself, wash your kid, wash the dishes, wash your car, wash your hair, or wash the dog, eliminating many extra or “specialty” products from your routine. We produce soaps, balms, and scrubs almost every day and we are always coming up with new scent and oil combinations. So, check back often to see what new and exciting products we have for you!
