Poplar wood is a fast growing sustainable hardwood that grows in abundance here in North American, and it performs exceptionally well with water and moisture exposure. Poplar wood varies in color from white cream to light minty green as depicted in both extremes in the picture.
To help extend the life of your handcrafted soap dish even longer, we recommend first treating it with mineral oil like you would use with cutting boards and butcher blocks.
