"Pretty Fly for a Fry Guy" Bath Soap
Soap made from recycled fryer oil?!?! Yes!
Every year restaurants create a few billion gallons of waste cooking oil. If not disposed of properly, that oil can lead to clogged drain pipes and sewage systems. Recycling used cooking oil saves restaurants and cities money by preventing messy situations.
While the bio diesel industry takes a large portion of the used oil from restaurants, it doesn't cover them all. We feel that soap is a great alternative because it requires less refinement to turn this food byproduct into soap than it does fuel!
Q: Does it smell like fried food?
A: No. Once the oil is mixed with lye and water there is no discernible smell, other than the natural soap smell.
Q: Are there bits of food in it?
A: No. Uncle Jons Soap carefully filters all of their recycled cooking oil ensuring the oil is free from any food particles.
